Alison joined the Primley Court team in 2015 having worked in the care sector since she was 16 attaining the qualification of Registered Nurse and for twelve years worked as a Registered Care Home Manager.
“I am very interested in Palliative care and feel I have the right skills to help people deal with problems associated with their disease process, the dying process and bereavement.

Alison joined the Primley Court team in 2015 having worked in the Care of the Elderly sector since the age of 16 Alison started her career as a Nursing Auxiliary achieving the position of Registered Nurse and for twelve years has worked as a Registered Care Home Manager.

Working now as a Deputy Manager in Primley Court in The View Nursing Home; Alison’s wealth of experience adds value to the homes leadership team. Alison considers herself as an approachable person with excellent communication skills, willing to share views and good practice. This approach ensures the Home enjoys a good working relationship with outside agencies including social workers, specialist nurses, GP’s, pyhsio’s and occupational therapists.

Alison is passionate about giving the highest standard of care to people, assessing their needs and promoting their independence and identity, respecting their wishes and choices and works with others to achieve a positive outcome for our residents.

Out of work I am very family orientated and enjoy gardening, walking the dog and eating out.
